It looks like I will be going offline for a week or more. I called Dell this morning and reported the charging problem. After some discussion the customer support rep convinced me the only way to diagnose the problem is to ship my laptop off to them. Reluctantly, I agreed, seeing no other option. I’m supposed to receive a shipping package from Dell within 24 hours. Then I’ll pack up my baby and send it off with great trepidation. In the meantime I am busy backing up everything I can think of that isn’t already backed up.

I saw the title of the post and cringed. Ugh. I assume it’s back and working!
Yup, I got it back on Monday. It has taken a fe days to get it up and running, with help from my computer guru son. Finally back to normal now and I’m actually writing again.
