What is the best day of the week to launch your ebook? I’ve read conflicting advice on this subject. Some indie authors say launch toward the end of the week, preferably Thursday, to draw weekend readers. More importantly, to avoid competing with traditional publishers who most often launch new releases on Tuesday.
Taking the opposite tack, other authors say launch on Tuesday so you more or less ride on the big boys’ coattails. Their reasoning has to do with Amazon algorithms. Don’t ask because I don’t know.

Now, on what day of the week should I release this puppy? Drumming my fingers and gnashing my teeth here. Kidding! Actually, I’ve decided to split the difference and launch on Wednesday, October 26.
Close to Halloween! Bad idea? I hope not. The story features a grisly serial murderer, a first for me. Maybe it will appeal to mystery fans as well as paranormal romance fans. You think?
