Lyn Horner lives in Fort Worth, Texas, “where the west begins,” with her husband Ken and three very spoiled cats. Both animal lovers, they also feed and shelter a gaggle of community cats who come and go.

Originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota, Lyn attended the the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. After graduating, she worked as a fashion illustrator and art instructor. Then her husband’s job took them to Chicagoland. At that point, she gave up her art career and stayed home to raise their two young children. Soon growing bored, she took up writing, which she had always enjoyed. She came to love researching and writing passionate love stories.

Lyn is a cross-genre author. She writes different sub-genres of romance. Her works include her award-winning western historical series, Texas Devlins. She also has a pre-apocalyptic series called Romancing the Guardians and a time travel series, Legendary Rendezvous. She loves to inject paranormal twists in her stories that often feature characters with psychic gifts. No doubt because she long ago experienced precognitive dreams herself.
Lyn is part Scotch Irish. This explains why Ireland, its rich history, and wealth of myth and legends often play a part in her stories. She is especially proud of her Irish historical romance Rebel Mine. Set during the great 1798 Irish rebellion against British rule, it required many, many hours of research. Not that Lyn minded! It has been highly recommended by the Historical Fiction Company.

Can you believe it? I read it twice. While I am not as proficient on this issue, I harmonise with your conclusions because they create sense. Thanks and goodluck to you.

As you requested, I tawdled over from WordPress today to visit and provide feedback about your header.
I like your header; wonder why the cattle photo appears a bit pixelated?

I’m glad you like my header. The photo is actually a combination of photos I put together using the MS Paint program. Not an easy task! I imagine that’s the reason for the pixelation.
I also used Paint to create my book covers, again using photos and some art work. I hate the way colors bleed together when saved as jpg!

Hi Mary, I’m glad you came back. Darlin’ Druid is not yet available in print. I am working on having it published as a print-on-demand book through Createspace, and amazon affilate, but it might be a while yet. It’s kind of a complicated process — I’m learning as I go. However, if you are willing to read DD in electronic format, you don’t have to own a Kindle to do that. Kindle books can be read on many devices. All you need to do is purchase Darlin’ Druid on amazon.com, then download a free app from amazon that will allow you to read my book on your PC or Mac, iPhone, iPad, Blackberry or Android. It’s very easy. I did it myself just to make sure of that. And once you download the free app you can use it to read any kindle book.
By the way, Darlin’ Druid is on sale for only $.99 through the month of April.
