This book has a relationship that fits what you’d expect from a book in the romance genre. Throw in the historical setting and you could call it a historical romance or historical fiction and it would be tough to argue with either description. If you’re into historical romance or Irish history this is a good fit. If you’re into both, it’s a no-brainer. I found both aspects drew me in, but there is also lots of adventure as a rebellion for Irish independence kicks off, drawing our two main characters into this conflict. It all made for an engaging adventure that kept me hanging on every word.

Rebel Mine
I was drawn immediately into this story while learning a bit of history. This story is a heart-stopping fabulous read with tragedy, intrigue and love.
I truly learned more about Irish history with pleasure. I couldn’t put the book down until I finished it, literally I read it though out the day with breaks. I held my breath through many chapters.

This book combines all of my favorite ingredients! Historical fiction, romance, and some action! Enjoyed!!!
Reviewed in the United States on August 27, 2024 This book did not disappoint. It’s a nice mixture of action and espionage with a slow-burn fake mistress romance thrown in.
