I’m happy to say my Amazon book sales are still climbing. July promises to end as one of my best months ever. Here’s a reminder of the sequence my Druid books fall in, although each can be read as a stand-alone novel.
White Witch is a novella introducing Jessie and Tye Devlin, stars of the first two books in Lyn Horner’s Texas Druids trilogy. Offspring of Irish immigrants, the brother and sister are descended from ancient Druids and are blessed with unique psychic powers. White Witch showcases Jessie’s ability to look into the future.
Although a prequel to the trilogy, the novella offers a story in itself, carrying Jessie, Tye and their father through the Great Chicago Fire of 1871 and it’s aftermath. One particularly harrowing scene from the fire, laid out in this tale, continues to haunt Jessie in Darlin’ Druid, volume one of the series. She also has her first prophetic dream of the man who will lead her on a dangerous quest for love.
Darlin’ Druid is the first novel in my trilogy, available in Kindle and print formats — Book jacket blurb:
Psychics in the Old West? Yup! Say howdy to Lyn Horner’s Texas Druids. This first book in her planned trilogy is a tale of epic adventure, stormy romance and family strife, set ablaze by flashes of Druid magic.
Jessie Devlin, a descendent of the “Old Ones,” sees into the future. A prophetic vision sends her west in search of a man she believes she’s fated to love. Captain David Taylor, a Texan exiled from home after fighting for the Yankees in the Civil War, might be the man Jessie seeks. Or has her gift betrayed her? Will her quest lead her to happiness . . . or into a deadly trap?
“Fans of historical romance and possibly even those who are into westerns, sans romance, should find much to like in Darlin’ Druid.” ¯BigAl’s Books and Pals
“A touch of the Irish in the Old West is the best description of this story. I really enjoyed the book, the ending wasn’t rushed . . . . I would definitely recommend this book to everyone. ¯Laura Wallace of the Paranormal Romance Guild
Dashing Druid is book two in the trilogy, also available for Kindle and in print — Book jacket blurb:
Tye Devlin is an empath. Assailed by emotions from everyone around him, Tye has learned to block out most of the “racket”. Yet, when he meets cowgirl Lil Crawford, he has no defense against her hidden pain, for it echoes his own sorrows.
Wounded by love, Lil guards her bruised heart behind a tough shell. When a handsome stranger with an Irish brogue calls her beautiful, she thinks he’s mocking her, but she secretly wishes such a man might truly want her. Feuding families stand between the two and a perilous cattle drive pits them against menacing foes as they fight their personal demons. Is love worth the risks, and will Tye’s gift prove to be a curse or a blessing?
“One of this book’s strengths is the way the supporting characters from the first novel [Darlin’ Druid] transfer into the main characters of the second, while the main characters of the first novel shift into the supporting characters in order for Tye and Lil’s story to emerge. This isn’t always as easy as it sounds and Lyn Horner does it flawlessly.” ¯mesadallas, Amazon Reviewer
